It has been hot. We rummaged through the garage and found the old Slip ‘N Slide. Everything got adequately soaked but the twins still had trouble making it work. They would hit the plastic and scoot about three feet. A successful trip down a Slip ‘N Slide requires total commitment. You have to throw yourself onto the ground with total abandon. I decided that a simple demonstration might increase their level of fun. I was fully committed. I hit that plastic with reckless abandon. I regret this demonstration. They got pretty good at the Slip ‘N Slide but now, I can’t stand up without grunting or turn my head to the left.
