I love sitcoms. A ridiculous situation occurs and is then resolved perfectly before the half-hour is over. Some of the newer sitcoms are okay but nothing compares to the classics. Any time that you spend at Cheers, with Fred Sanford, or in a Taxi is time well spent. The dialogue is predictable in the best possible way. Every single episode enforces the importance of being there for your family no matter what. That family could be three sons or a boatload of castaways. I love sitcoms. I just wish that real-life problems could be resolved in 30-minute chunks.
