Today, I want to talk about a universal law of parenthood. Millions of caregivers across the United States will be able to verify this truth during the upcoming holiday weekend. If children stay up much later than normal, they will wake up very early. The later the bedtime, the earlier the morning begins. I don’t know why this happens. Maybe it has something to do with deep sleep. Millions of children will stay up late to enjoy some fireworks. All of those children will then be awake at the butt crack of dawn, ready for a hotdog and a sparkler.
