If you have been following along, you have probably seen or heard something in my “Not as Regular” series. I released this song two years ago. I’ve written a random assortment of additional verses and made a corresponding t-shirt. Every time that I post a video in this series, there is at least one comment about needing to eat more fiber. The song is about being regular but not that kind of regular.
I decided that it was time to retire this series. I’ve written 22 specific verses and I’m almost out of t-shirts. The day after I decided to retire the series, there was a spike on Spotify. I have no idea why it happened. The song was added to a random playlist and had a crazy jump in plays. When I say that it had a “crazy jump in plays,” I’m not talking about millions of streams. It might be enough to buy a cup of coffee. The playlist has since shuffled and the stream count has returned to normal. It is time to retire the series.
I will post the last video from the series this week. The handful of remaining shirts will be on sale until they are gone. It’s been a fun series. Thanks for keeping score at home. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Also, eat more fiber.
