Wednesday Words-
I’m working on a new song. It’s about being different from everyone else. As I get older, I become more comfortable with all of the ways that I don’t fit in. It’s about becoming proud to call yourself Weird Folk.
I’m not as regular as I used to be
This line says what I want it to say. The problem is that it sounds like a jingle for a toilet paper commercial. So, I researched some synonyms for the word regular.
I’m not as normal as I used to be
I’m not as standard as I used to be
I’m not as typical as I used to be
I have to stick with regular.
