Photo-Op

If you have been keeping score at home, you know that I had a gig playing for our local minor league team. I think this was the fourth consecutive summer when I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to play music before a baseball game. It’s a fun job. I get to play some songs and then spend my entire paycheck on hot dogs and beer.

I forgot to pack my phone charger and my phone was mostly dead when I arrived at the stadium. I was very upset about my dead device. I had hoped to take a photo of myself on the giant screen while I was playing music with fireworks in the background. This would have been an epic photo and I wasn’t going to be able to get it.

It all resolved fine. The game was relatively exciting and it took longer than normal. There wasn’t any extra time between the end of the game and the fireworks. They didn’t need any post-game music. This meant that I didn’t miss out on a stunning photo-op and I was able to get out of the parking lot before traffic got bad. It was a fun job.
