This past weekend was the high school musical. Hannah played violin in the pit. It was spectacular. When I was a kid, high school musicals involved a lot of patchwork. “Can anybody bring in some lipstick?” We would scavenge the closets of our grandparents for costumes. We learned some songs and did our best. There were no sound systems, bubble machines, or flying rigs. This production rivaled some of the Broadway shows that I have seen. Everything was amazing. I am proud of Hannah and all of the hard work that went into this show.
Next weekend is All-State Orchestra. It’s a busy season for a proud dad.
