It Could Not Be Unsaid

I was playing music with some friends. Steve plays the dobro. “I’m playing a festival in a couple of weeks and I’ve got some tickets… If you want to go… Shoot, you should probably just play the set with me…”

It could not be unsaid. It was one of those big moments. Words are blurted into existence and everything changes. We had to play a set together, on a stage, in front of people, even if it was really difficult.

So, we scheduled a practice. I rubbed my lucky rock, made a plea to the muses, and compiled a list of potential songs.

We ran our set today. I wouldn’t want to change the situation even if I could. Wait until you hear this.
