Being a folk singer isn’t as glamorous as you would imagine. I spend a lot of time moving sound equipment. I move heavy stuff for a living and I take occasional breaks to play music. A recent gig required that I haul my speakers for a long distance. I grabbed my trusty dolly to aid the movement of heavy stuff. It’s just a standard furniture dolly but when you need to move heavy stuff, it does a good job. The only problem with the dolly is that I can’t use this tool without doing a Louis Armstrong impression. Every single time that I use the dolly, I have to sing.
