We’ve been doing a new thing. The kids and I have been going out for breakfast on Sunday mornings. If you have been with me for any amount of time, you know that I love breakfast. I love a classic American greasy spoon. So many of the important decisions in my life have been made while sitting at a dinner. I guess that I have been neglecting this portion of my kids’ education. “This place is so fancy, they have little packets of jelly on the table. I want to only go to restaurants that have little jellies on every table.” We loaded up on heavy starches and breakfast meats. On the way home, someone decreed, “I love greasy food.” Me too, kid.
