I have always loved this song. It doesn’t matter who is singing this song, it always has the same vibe. It feels like a funeral procession in New Orleans. This isn’t a slow, sad funeral march. It’s a plea for help when we are down and out. Precious Lord, take my hand because I can’t take another step on my own. I needed this song today.
