I read recently that there are several common traits among people who tend to live the longest. One of the things they all have in common is that they floss their teeth daily. It remains unclear if it is the act of flossing that causes good health and life extension. Or maybe flossing correlates to other habits, genetic traits, or lifestyle choices that provide the bonus years.
I am now an avid flosser. I don’t need to know how the sausage is made. If flossing could provide me with a longer life, that is a gamble that I am willing to make. If I floss hard enough, I will live forever. I can taste those bonus years stacking onto my life… they taste like bleeding gums. Maybe that was too much flossing.
