I love Christmas. It’s a holiday that is solidly built on traditions that have stood the test of time but I think it could use a little refresh. I think it is time for some new traditions. Ugly sweaters are too hot and too itchy. The Christmas ham makes me dehydrated and sleepy. I’m not suggesting that we ditch all of our Christmas traditions. I love the classic carols and all of the decorations. I spend all year in anticipation of the endless supply of cookies. I love cookies. Here is what I am thinking. Instead of sweaters and ham, it should be pirate costumes and guacamole. Grab the corn chips, matey. Arrrr, it’s time for the Christmas guac.
