During the early spring, there was a pair of rabbits bouncing around the garden. Naturally, this pair of rabbits led to many little bunnies bouncing around the yard. This massive influx of baby bunnies has led to a new predator in the neighborhood. I think it might be an owl. This new predator has provided a fun new game. Can I walk outside without stepping on a dead rabbit… or parts of a dead rabbit? It never takes the whole rabbit. It always leaves the feet. I wonder if this is related to the cultural trend involving a lucky rabbit’s foot. However, from the rabbit’s perspective, there was nothing lucky about it.
