I typically glean inspiration for my daily posts from my daily life. I can always count on something happening during the day that would be great to write about. My kids say something funny or I get inspired by something and I know that it’s the idea for the day. I recognize it when it shows up. Lately, all that has been happening is Christmas. I have written a lot about Christmas this year and I’ve covered a lot of different angles in the process. At the risk of sounding like a Scrooge, I am sick of writing about Christmas. I love this season of the year but I am ready for a new topic. I’m happy that tomorrow is New Year’s Eve. It will be a welcome change of pace even though it seems like more of the same.
