My father is a retired pastor. Even though he is retired, he has two part-time churches. Since he has retired and taken on these churches, their average attendance has tripled. I don’t know if it’s fair to say that he is retired. One of the churches is called Perrryopolis United Methodist Church because it’s in Perryopolis, PA. They were planning on making a new photo directory complete with addresses and phone numbers to help connect all of the new congregants. As a partially retired pastor, it is safe to say that new technology is not his strong suit. He sent out a pre-recorded phone blast to all of the people on the church phone chain. Autocorrect played a funny trick. “Please schedule a time slot with the photographer to have your picture taken for Perry’s Topless photo directory.”
