I should write a post about the Super Bowl. It was anticipated that 124 million people would all be sharing the experience of this televised event. I was one of those 124 million people that tuned in but I don’t have anything to say about it.
I’d rather talk about soup. Our church was having a soup sale to raise money for a good cause. We were headed out the door after the service and my son said, “You know we can’t leave here without some soup.” He wasn’t wrong. A good bowl of soup can transform you into a brand new version of yourself. It’s a magical super fuel. It’s a liquid hug that warms you up from the inside out. I’m so grateful for the restorative power of soup.
